How do I find the music I want?

Hopefully you will find the website easy to navigate. You can either browse through the categories, or simply type the artist in the search box and we'll show you what we have available.

Does the Nectar Musicstore have all songs ever recorded available?

No. There are millions of music tracks in the world, so there are bound to be some tracks we don't stock. If you can’t find what you want, it probably means we don’t have it right now, but keep coming back as we're adding to our catalogue all the time. You’ll find the latest additions by clicking on the ‘New Releases’ tab.

Do I need to use the Nectar Musicstore download manager to download music?

The Nectar Musicstore provides a download manager to service MAC and PC users. However, if you do have a preferred download manager it may also be utilized to download your music from the Nectar Musicstore. It should be noted that Nectar Musicstore does not provide support for non-Nectar Musicstore download managers.

Where is the music filed on my computer when I download it?

If you use Windows XP as your operating system, your music will automatically be downloaded to a folder called My Music which is inside the My Documents folder.

If you use Windows Vista, it will automatically go to a folder called Music which is inside the Main User folder.

If you've got an older version of Windows we recommend you upgrade to get best performance.

The Media Player that is included free with Windows looks in these folders first when it's creating a music library, so it makes sense to store your purchases there. However, you can create your own folder and locate it wherever you want on your PC.

What can I do with the music after I have downloaded it?

Once you have downloaded your music, it's yours to enjoy, so you can do all this:

  1. Copy it to any portable music player and listen to music wherever you are.
  2. Listen to it on your PC.
  3. Burn (copy) songs to blank CDs to play on a standard music system.
  4. Create your own playlists and compilations that are unique to you.

What happens if I lose my music?

Don’t worry, Nectar Musicstore will keep records of all the tracks you have purchased so you can download them again, free of charge. Once logged in to your account, simply click on 'Your download history', then click on the order you wish to download from again and follow the instructions to re-download your songs.

Can I play my music on a Mac?

All Nectar Musicstore songs and albums are compatible with Mac and PC computers. You can enjoy your music without restrictions.

Can I play my music on any portable player?

How many times can I transfer or burn tracks?

How long does it take to download a track?

Typically, a four minute track takes between one and two minutes on a broadband connection. This all depends on your broadband speed and your PC, so the time may vary slightly.

How long are my credits valid for?

Once you have redeemed your Nectar points for track credits they will automatically be put into your account. Credits then have a validity of 12 months.
